I have a 88 sport coupe tbi 305. I recently bought a carb'd 355 other than the distributer and some wiring changes is there anything else im gonna need to get/do. Oh yeah and also what do i need to do to with the intank fuel pump if i want to continue to use it. And what kind of fuel pressure regulator do i need and how do they work.

 

There is actually an excellent tech article in the tech articles section of this site. I would suggest reading it, as well as doing a search. This has been done many times. There are two differnt kinds of fuel pressure regulators available if you intend to use your intank pump, a mallory and a barry grant. How many miles are on your intank pump. If its old you should consider taking it out and using a mech. pump. It will save you having to drop the gas tank at an inopportune time, and you wont have to spend 70 bucks on a regulator.
