what is the difference between v6 and v8 tach? how can I hook it up? I was also wondering about the v8 motor maounts--are there some kind of "side brackets" that I need to pull of a donor car? And are new springs necessary?--I just put new struts on, and I have been told that they may be fine.

you will need to just get a V8 tach out of a donor car....

get the motor mounts out of the donor car also

most people say switch the springs...i didnt, but i had newer springs anyways and the car still sat about 1/2 inch lower....how ever i am going to get new springs soon anyways. I would say go ahead and change them so you dont have to do it later.
