LT1 Fuel Injector Problem

I was ready to fire up the camaro tonight with almost everythng complete. The time came and i cranked it but it wasn't starting. I have had my PCM custom edited so Vats has been deleted. Well the car is getting spark I put in some ether and some fuel directly into the intake manifold and the motor ran. I checked the lines and fuel is in the lines. So i checked the injectors and they are getting a constant 12v but then once it is cranked all that voltage disapears it gets cut off!?!? So the problem is my injectors are not pushing in any fuel whats the deal??? Please help as I have a deadline of next monday the 3rd

Re: LT1 Fuel Injector Problem

I take it this is a complete LT1 swap ?

If so:
Sounds like you have no res. signal from the opti, check the connections on the opti, at the coil and module.

what year PCM you using and harness ?

Yes it is a complete LT1 swap, It is a 1996 motor and a 1994-1995 computer. Do you think that maybe the harness isen't powered correctly? OR the computer isen't powering correctly?

Its been awhile since I wired mine up, but i do remember a orange w/ white stripe wire that i forgot to give 12v power that kept mine from running.

My helm manual is out in the garage, if i had it near the computer I would give you the connector color and pin location.

Hmm 94-95 PCM with a '96 motor, did you change the knock sensor?

yes the knock sensor issue has been taken care of, i am really not sure if I powered the harness/computer right, in fact i have some pictures that I will post of some harness peices that I have no idea what they are. i do have a question bout a painless wiring harness, I am really thinking about getting one is it worth it? tell me how it will make this swap easier everyone claims it does but how?

Check out connector C100, where the ejectors power feeds are, make sure it's wired properly.
