The 2.8 in my 84 Berlinetta is getting weaker each day it seems, so it's time to up the power under the hood alittle bit. I want to swap in a 3.4L V6. Simple enough...But I also want to switch to MPFI thanks to the increasing price of gas in this great country.

Exactly what parts would I need to do this? I've got the labor covered. Just gotta have the parts to do it and I don't know what I need.

 

Well let's see. Besides the obvious...like engine harness, ECM, motor, accessory brackets, and possibly the electric fan and hardware. The most overlooked items would be high pressure fuel lines from fuel tank to fuel injection, and the appropriate high pressure fuel pump(wether mounted in the fuel tank or externally). Another item to look at would be the throttle cable and tranny cable. Oh, and probably the speed sensor mounted in the back of your tranny. I'm sure I've left something out, but other will be glad to help. Good Luck!
