will the 305 Small Block's Valve covers, timing cover, intake manifold and oil pan mount up on to a 350 or will i have to buy all new of these parts. And Where would be the cheapest place to get them.

 

They'll all bolt. I have heard the 305 pan sometimes won't clear the 350 crank.

 

ok but the intake manifold will definitly work because that is what i am worried about the most because an oil pan for the 350 is really cheap and so isnt everything else i just didnt want to have to get a new intake manifold

 

also should i upgrade the tranny or leave it in and if i have to upgrade it what should i upgrade it to and where can i buy it

 

Should all fit. The external dimentions of the 305/350 blocks are the same. And i have almost all of my 305 parts on my 350 as proof, hehe.

Actually.. I have all the parts you listed from my 305 on my 350 except the pan.

BTW, this was an '83 305 and '79 350.

 

mine is a 1986 305 and a 1986 350
