Thrust Plate Help Asap
im putting my motor together got to the timing and the cam thrust plate did not fit. took the timing off my friends 350 and he did not have one. do i need one or not help please asap

Are you running a roller cam, if so is it stock. You have to run some kind of thrust plate or thrust button to keep the roller cam from walking.
Did it not fit on the cam, the stock style cams have a stepped nose for the thrust plate to fit on.
