I'm thinking about possibly doing an LT1 swap, what I'm wondering is if it is possible to use a TH350 with an LT1 with no major modifications, is this possible? this is what tranny I have right now and it would make things much easier, does anyone maybe make an adapter kit for it?

i got a 89 700r4 on my 96 lt1, bolted right up...unless im greatly mistaken, the th350 is same bolt pattern as the 700r4..so therefore should go right on

 

Will work without problems. you'll need to rewire a few things. Also the tranny crossmember will be different.

 

different rewire and crossmember for a TH350 or 700r4? I don't know what needs to be wired for a TH350, there isn't any wiring that I know of and I already have a crossmember for a TH350.
