Thinking of a 4-cyl to V-8 swap!
Thinking about having this done professionally as I don't really have the time or resources. I have a 83 Z28 parts car with a "nothing special" 305 Edel performer intake/Edel 550 carb. Was wanting to transfer complete drivetrain (amongst many other parts) from 83 over to my 84 SC. Am I looking at quite a bit of $$$ to pay someone else to do? Or should not mess with this?

. Money, parts and engine would be out of site on this, and also the labor for someone do it.

It wouldn't be too bad if you were doing the work yourself, but having a mechanic swap the whole drivetrain will be very exspensive. Like said above you'd just about be better off buying a 350 car.
