i have a 92 firebird with a 305tbi in it...its pretty tired. i have purchased a 350tbi out of a 92 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup. its all rebuilt and ready to drop in. do and of you guys think that i will have any problems doing the swap? if so what should i be aware of and how could i possibly avoid those problems?

it should all be the same pyhsically.

what do you plan on doing as far as the throttle body? which one are you using? which injectors?

you may want to get a chip burned to get the most power out of whatever combo you choose.

well, i was thinkin to just use the 305 throttle body but with the 350 injectors. there than that, i was just going to drop it in

 

If I were you, when I did the swap, I would take out all the roller hardware out of the 305 and get another roller cam and put it in the 350.

If you do a search on this topic, you'll find plenty of info. You'll need the 350 injectors, knock sensor and module. Other than that, its a straight up drop in.

 

in that case, everythings a go! i got everything you guys are mentioning i need, i just didnt know what i acctually needed. thanks alot for all your help, ill post how things went in a few days.
