Ineed some help
Can somebody please give me some info on this...
I have a 91 rs with a 3.1 v6 in it all stock. and somebody gave my father a 99 camaro totaled .. Now the engine and trans mission are all in tact and fine and the interior is perfect. Would i be able to put the newer 4th gen engine , transmission , interior and rims on and in my car if someone could clear this up for me it would be great thanks...

Definatly. The engine and tranny will work, but only after some work. More or less basic V6 to V8 swap. The interior would be more work (what parts of the interior are you wanting to use?)
Rim SHOULD...I doubt they changed the bolt pattern from 3rd to 4th gens.
But, of course you can put that engine in. I've seen a 360 mopar in an El Camino (yes...lots of work, and from what I hear...not worth it

Car: 89rs (previous 2.8)
Engine: 406
Transmission: 700r4 (for now)
drivetrain will work with mods..(6 or 8cylinder?)..do a search
the wheels will work with 2" spacers ( just swap out the complete 4th gen rear) The bolt pattern is the same but the back spacing is 6" compared to 3rd's 4.75...again try the search feature......to answer your question , Yes..
Welcome to the board!
if in fact it is a v-6 to v-8...there is nothing "Basic" about it....
