anyone swap v6 for a 305? need your help

the motor on my 2.8 is pretty much finished, a bearing spun and shaved some metal off the shoulder on my crank shaft making a very wreched tapping noise, as well as the fact that the bearing will evntually spin again. I cant afford something like a huge crate engine and a tranny to go with it either, and this is my daily driver. Im very interested in swapping a 305 in because from what i under stand that will be the cheapest v8 swap i can do because the t5 tranny i have will not get blown on this engine whereas a 350 would do that in no time. Yes i am aware ill need a bigger radiator, the 305's computer, and the bellhousing for an 8; also that the flywheel is going to have to be changed if this 305 is an auto transmission. is there anything else that i need to know to make this swap happen, like different fuel pump if the v6 is to weak or anything else? BTW the 305 engines are all TPI if that would make any difference. thanks to anyone who can help me out here other wise im stuck with replacing the 6 with another 6.

There is only one sane way to do this - get a factory V8 donor car that has the engine/transmission you want.

Please note that the T5 used for your 2.8 WILL NOT fit your V8 swap. Different animal. I agree that the best way to fly is a donor combo. That way you can get the V-8/trans, wiring, computer (for TPI or TBI), driveshaft, exhaust and the proper brackets for power steering, alternator, A/C that may be specific to 3rd gen. V-8's.
