i'm looking into buying a lt1 engine how much do they go for?
can you find one at the junkyard?

 

I would say junkyard or you could find good ones with fairly low miles and all the accesories, wiring, and ecm, and tranny on ebay for good prices. check it out.

I highly reccomend comtemporary corvette. I bought my ls1 setup from them. World class organization. Engine showed up a week BEFORE promised. Was the best crate packeging job I have ever seen. They used all new cables and everything was bubble wraped. I could not believe the extra care that went into it.

Their prices are fair. However the quailty is top notch. They are located in Bristol PA. I will post the phone number later when I have time to look for it.
