Yes u will have to change coil springs on the front. Is it difficult? Depends on who's doing it. Is it dangerous? As far as i'm concerned anything u do under the car is dangerous! But with that said, no. changing front springs aren't bad, just make sure your car is properly jacked up and on blocks(jackstands) and u should be good to go.

If you get a rental tool to compress the springs going in, be careful with it. Make sure there is someone there helping. I've found that you don't have to compress the springs that are in the car to get them out. Once you have everything loose, just pry them out.
