Finishing up on the LT1 swap in a 92 Camaro (formerly 305 TPI).

See the very right side of the attached picture.. I had previously read that C4 Vette Bellows and the stock TPI air intake would all mate up to the LT1 throttle body. Bellows sit about a full 2 inches too high, too much of a stretch to make it connect...

Also, I'm using the stock 92 radiator - with a bunch of different hoses...

Is the motor sitting too low ? That's the stock height of the stock TPI 92 radiator... what did you do to mate the TPI intake to the LT1 TB ? Did I buy the wrong bellows?

Any other ideas so I can still use my stock looking TPI air intake...to the LT1 throttle body ??

Thanks!

The TPI airbox will work, you'll have to make new rubber tubes to connect it to the trottle body, I suggest to put the maf sensor in between the trottlebody and air cleaner.

like air cleaner-tube-maf-tube-trottlebody.

I believe only the 94' Vette rubber pieces will work as it used two shorter but equal legnth rubber pieces. One on each side of the MAF sensor. The LT-1 intake is shorter so it sits lower and you will have a curve.

I did this-

I'm trying to find a blue silicone piece that matches the blue TB to MAF piece to put in place of the black intake tube but havent had much luck. The 3 1/2" straight silicone tubes that I have found have had to much wall thickness to make the bend.
