I've seen one in a Fiero before with nitrous on it. I don't think it's been done in a Camaro before, but as the saying goes with time and money anything will fit.

I've seen a couple of Fieros with one. Must bolt right up to a 60° transmission or something.

I have no clues what it would take to get one into one of these cars; oil pans, exhaust, mounts, accessories, etc.

I think the LS1 is a better choice, as far as potential is concerned.

pushrod or twin cams?
i like the sound of twin cams, could really turn that motor into a screamer

It has been done on a 4th gen. I see no reason why it will not work on a 3rd.

shelby series 1
the new shelby series 1 ($180,000) uses the cadilac's northstar. it has 2 engine options the regular northstar rated at 320 hp and a supercharged version of the northstar rated at 450 hp. completely irrelevent i know but just thought ide throw that out there, i mean if carrol shelby uses it in his 180k car its gotta be a worthwhile engine.
