318 t0 305

I have an '88 dodge ram w150 4x4 with a 318 TBI, and a 4sp manual. The motor just isn't doing it for me. I want something better. I have an '85 IROC with a 305 TPI auto. What all do I need to make the 305 fit in the dodge?

Get a 94 up MPFI 360 Magnum engine. Stock 245hp and 345tq. Lot's of aftermarket for those engines.

You're biggest concerns will be engine mounts, and transmission mounts. You will need the correct length of driveshaft using the camaro yoke and the dodge driveshaft. If you have to shorten or lengthen the shaft get a camaro one and install the front yoke at the same time.
