Can anyone tell me what it will take to convert my 1989 firebird 305tbi to a 350H.O. motor with tbi

Vortec carb intake, holley carb to tbi adaptor, custom prom, holley 670 tbi, and headers (not necessary but the car won't run worth a darn without them)
look in the tbi board for jprevost, then find his website... hes got all the parts listed and the whole swap documented, i believe...

You could get away with the stock components I'm sure, but it wouldn't run to its potential. The GM TBI Vortec intake I believe has EGR, but if you run with out EGR you need a modified PCM.
Also I think the stock TBI would need bigger injectors, or possibly a fuel pressure regulator. The Ultimate TBI mods would not hurt either.
I do believe however that the TBI Vortec Intake costs more then the Carb Intake with the adapter. I would also be willing to bet that the carb intake would make more power.
