Putting in 350 for 305
My bearings are toast in the 305. Anywho, the point is that my 82 z28 needs a bit of work. As far as drive train, it needs a new engine, and the rear is very close to going as well. It has a strong th350 with shift kit though. Interior is great, for 20 years old, it looks awesome, plus the t-tops its so much fun in the summer. The body itself needs some work, new bumper cover and a new right fender, so basically half the car is painted and the other half is not. So 100$ will get me body parts from the junkyard, but i have the crappy plain hood that comes on v6's.. which isnt painted as well.
Well, I can get a rebuilt 350 with everything except intake/headers/carb for around 800$, then a couple hundred to install, so about a thousand bucks and it comes with like a 50k mile warrenty. What are your thoughts, the car is pretty bad ***, it has some nice *** rims on it, and i just bought some 245-65-15's for the back... Opinions...
