383 help

Im building a 383 for my camaro and I have one major queston. What should the rev limit be set at. All I have picked out so far is the crank, rods, and pistons. The crank and rods are 4340 steel and the pistons are going to be forged speed pro.

What kind of cam you gonna run? Solid, hydrolic, roller? What kind of heads are you gonna have? What CR? What kind of gas are you gonna run? More info before any questions can be anwsered but that bottom end should be good past almost any cam.

That roatating assembly should be able to spin 6500 rpm, but if you spin it that high make sure the valvetrain can take it otherwise you'll have a mess on your hands.
