V6 to V8 swap
Well I just finished my v6 auto to v8 t5 swap. It wasn't as bad as i thought. it every bit of spare time that i had for a week, but it is done!!!!
I still have a couple of little things to work on, if anyone has an electric speedo sending unit for the tranny, please let me know, i'm driving blind..... Anyway, if any one is thinking about doing this swap and has any questions, just let me know, i's happy to share my experiances.

I won't lie, it was A LOT of work, but it wasn't that difficult. Will that tranny from the v6 hold up to even a 305??? I would think that the 8 would leave that tranny lying on the ground in a bloody pile. Anyway, the swap was just merely changing the motor mounts and dropping in the new motor.

is yours tpi? im doing a 3.1 to 350 tpi swap and need to know how i hook my 89 tpi harness and ecm up to my 92 bird? the part that goes though the firewall on the drivers side is the part im lost on there must be a bundle of 20 wires and i dont know were to hook them.is the color scheme the same on 89-92's?any info would be great

Nevermind... found all the info I need. It looks like the swap might be somewhat of a PITA, I'd be better off starting off with a V8 car.
