block casting numbers #
I just got a 350 block from a friend and I was wondering what it originally came from and what was in it. What #'s do I need off of it? And where do I go to find out what motor it is. I believe it's a truck motor....that's about all I know. Thanks.

there MAY be a series of numbers on the front passenger side of block right where the heads meets the block, there is a small "pad" where numbers are usually at, if they're not there the block may have been decked which will erase those numbers. unfortunatly they are the only way to tell for sure.
