Im wondering if anyone has swapped the SCPC 360 Vortec TPI? This is one of the engines Im looking at swapping into my 87 GTA.

Anyone have any problems with this engine? Anything special needed besides the EGR kit and a custom eprom chip?

What TPI intake set up are you guys using with the 360 Vortec? What are you guys running with this engine?

 

Anyone that has information on this swap please respond. I've been searching for an engine and this seems to be a resonable deal $3300 for 360hp TPI, looks like a plug-and-play swap to me, except the egr situation. The second choice is the 300hp from www.goautocenter.com for $1900

 

no motor exists within sc, are you speaking of 355 hp?

 

355 hp zz4, or 350 ramjet?or other i dont know of?

 

I talking about the engine that Scoggin-dickey builds, It's a long block 350 that includes the vortec intake. www.sdpc2000.com claims it has 357 hp. for $3399. First, go to the web site,click crate engines, then click SDPC custom engine, finally click the TBI/TPI engine.
