Lt1 T56 Clutch pedals.

I'm having a problem with my clutch pedal. I have a 95 lt1 and t56. I used the pedals and master cylendar from the 95. The problem is that the pedal only moves about three inches before it hits the floor. I was just wandering what everyone else used, Did you use the stock 3rd gen pedals with the t56 master/slave setup. I'm thinking of beating the floor to get a little more movement, or bending the clutch pedal so it doesn't hit the floor as soon. Any Ideas? The way it is now it works but its hard to shift so I don't think i need much more.

are there not different positions on the clutch pedal to attach the actuating rod for the cylinder? I thought there was a way to adjust the throw on the pedal...?

I used the stock third gen ones with no problems. I have a set from a '93 Z sitting on the shelf. I'll try and look tomorrow morning to see what the differences might be.

Hey man,

I used a stock set from I think an 84 'bird. I used the T56 slave assembly but had to shorten the actuator rod about 1/2".
You can see where it is 'crimped' to hold it together as it was pre-mods in the photo here after I had it all done. Just cut it apart and field fit it to the right length once installed in you car.
