I want to ditch my 6.It's tired anyway.Car is very clean.I would like to keep the swap as simple as possible.Will a L98 bolt to my T-5 tranny.I know I'll need motor mounts.What about the wiring harness.CPU and prom also concernes.I know that GM didn't offer MT on 350's in 89 but that's what I want!
Any advise or site-links would be appreciated.

I dont think your t-5 will work, even if it did bolt up, how long would it last behind the torque monster L98?

My advice to you would be do a search, this is a fairly straight foward swap.

 

Thanx for answering.I did browse the forums for hours before posting but missed a post that answered some of my questions.
It seems like I've seen 350-T-5 combos on this site So is a T-56 my only/best option.That would require trans mount / crossmember modification.Will i need a custom driveshaft.I am looking for a donor car with engine comp & wire harness.but they're all auto.
