Firebird to GTA conversion
im thinking of turning my mild mannered 3.1 firebird into a GTA. now normally im opposed to such conversions, because i think they kinda misrepresent the cars true history, but ive lined up an L98, and 700R4, i have the steering box, sway bars, and springs from my iroc, and when it comes down to it, it will be cheaper than rebuilding my 3.1, and i will have a car to somewhat replace my iroc. (RIP Jenna, electrical fire
) ive done many swaps before, i know what im getting into, id just like you guys input before i make up my mind. is there anything else ill need or is that about it? so what do you guys think, hell yes, dont care, or thats just f*cked up?
(moderators, i dont know if this is the right board for this topic, if not please move it where it belongs. thanks)

Hey, what ever makes you happy.. If you are like many of us the amount of money we put into these cars we could go out and buy another (like a GTA) for what we put into them.
Like my formula, I have put a bit of money in to it, however, I am working with a car that was close to premo as I could find for a 13 year old car here in the rust belt. Interior almost perfect, no rust to speak of, etc.. If I wanted to do a GTA Conversion, I would not hesitate, with this good of a base car.
Good luck.
