anyone w/ Hi 11's, LOW 12's w/TPI?
I have a 30 over 350 block, w/ 10:1 forged flat tops. Can I achieve High 11's/low 12's using this and the TPI on my 87 Iroc ? If anyone's doing it already, please lemme know how.
I have a 1988 IROC and it ran 12:50 at 111 MPH with a wrong camshatf ( a supercharge cam with 115 deg of lope separation). You see I was planning to install a Paxton S/C so in anticipation I install a supercharge cam. Because of the 115 deg lope separation the motor did not made low end torque to get me moving. I'm shure that with a good cam my car could run 11s. My combination was 10.4 to 1 pistons, Trick flow heads, Accel 1000 cfm T/B, SLP runners, Accel base plate, 36 lbs injectors( only need 24 lbs, I had the big ones for the supercharger I never got), roller rockers, SLP headers, 4" cat back, MSD box, home made ram air, Hamburger oil pan, power pulley set, 3200 stall T/C, and 3.70 gears. Any other questions e-mail me at Tonysz383@wideopenwest.com.

Tony, do you have a p/n and/or specs on those heads ? How much were they ? I was kinda looking at the ones from SDPC. Anyone using them ? I need to spank my buddies El Camino ! If I can get LOW 12's N/A, I might just hafta throw the juice to it, but only after I can do it without.
I'm a Midas Man, so I don't know much about motors & stuff YET but any help I can get would be appreciated.

You can pick up a set at Summit racing for about one Grand with 2.02 and 1.60 valves. This may sound too expensive but to make good power you need a good set of heads and because they are made out of aluminun you can run 10.5 to 1 on pump gas and shave 40lbs of the nose of your car. After you get all the parts for your engine call Crane cams or Comp cams and tell them what you got and how much power you'll like to make, they will tell you what cam to buy. They know best because all the dyno test they do. If you run fuel injection you need to upgrade it. A good base plate and large runners with 30lbs injectors are the ticket. the T/B can wait. Next will be the exhaust system, SLP make the best 1 3/4 shorty headers and company in NJ makes a 4" cat back. My car pick up a 1/2 a second on the 1/4 mile and 5 mile per hour with this cat back system. Last try to get a good tunner for your chip(e-prom). A good tunning can make a big diference. I have and old piggy back Accel DFI that you can reprogram with a laptop and I'd seen them on ebay cheap. I got line up with a friend and his 350 T/A that was supercharge, I just knew I was going to get spank, but my car was tune better and to my surprice all he got to see was my tail lights from at far, I was over 1/2 sec. faster and that was the last time he talk to me.
