What's the best tpi setup?

Exactly as it says, what's the pest Tuned Port Injection Setup. is it the ram stealth from holley, which is 2 grand... and i can't afford, or... something else?..
Also, is EFI just as good, or better? or worse? or.. what..
OR...is carbbed better, since you don't have to worry about computer.

way under a grand total for the SR.
you also have superram, mini ram, lt1 intake.
try running a quick search on each one of those names lots of good info.
I would think carb has its ups and downs also.
You might want to put down what u plan on doing with the car and enigne to help get some better responses.

well.. here's the thing.
a friend of my fathers has a 350 small block, that he's started to build, and he's wanting to sell it.
It has heads, which need alittle work, new though, and i think a crank shaft in it. But it's pretty mild. the heads are decent.
I'm wanting to get it and hopefully either leave it 350, or put a 383 kit in it. Either way, i'd like about 450, to 525 horsepower, and somewhere in there for torque. I don't want to go blown, and i don't want nitrous.
So.. i figured, mine as well start asking about intake first... i guess.. i should ask about other stuff instead. So.. what should be a good, cheapish way to go? I'm on a budget...
What/who are good comanies for what parts. Is eagle good for like, pistons and all that?... or ARP for other stuff.. or.. holley instead of edelbrock.. etc etc.
I know this could make this forum get quite heated, but.. lets look at it this way. Which is the cheapest for the most bang...or.. should i say, rumble? since i kinda want a radical cam in it for a nice drag sounding rumble when idling.
