CARB. to TPI
my Trans Am has a fried interior harness and a peiced back together engine harness. however, my car still run but some stuff does not work. i have always liked tpi for many reasons so i figure since im changin the interior harness why not switch to tpi. what else do i need to switch to tpi? besides the tpi setup. do i need the fuel lines too? if i used an external fuel pump how would i wire it up?
thanx

I would try to find a wrecked TPI car. You will need fuel lines, ecm, and fuel pump complex for in the tank. I would replace it with a walbro fuel pump. You will also need a fuel pump relay etc. If you find a donor car, just take the whole harness.
An alternitive wiring solution for the fuel pump would be the racetronix harness. Check out www.racetronix.com It comes with its own relays, etc.
