Another LT1 swap thread...
1. Will the stock 3rd gen radiator work? What hoses?
2. Do the throttle cable brackets NEED to be made if I use my TBI cable?
3. Fuel lines-> 3rd gen, 4th gen, or custom?
4. When I get the chip programmed can I just ditch VATS completely? If I try to start the car before getting a custom chip, will it not start because of VATS?
5. Will a TPI fuel pump work or should I just get a Walbro 255? Will I NEED an AFPR?
That's it for now. Thanks everyone!

1. Yes. I have a stock 3rd gen radiator with Goodyear wire-bound hoses
2. TBI cable is too short, get the TPI cable.
3. Combination of the two. Hardlines stay in the car, use -AN fittings with a barb fitting to mate to the 4th gen plastic lines.
4. Yes, No
5. TPI pump is fine. No AFPR needed, change fuel "pressure" in the program, computer adjusts for changes in pressure from the regulator.

TexasLT1, thanks for the answers so far.
Regarding the VATS issue, when you said no did you mean it would start or wouldn't? My question was worded kind of weird.
Another question:
6. If I rewire the harnesses from the "LT1 Wiring for Dummies" sticky, will I be fine? I won't need any special harness then correct?

If you do not program out VATS or get a new VATS module, the car will not start. There are ways to bypass it, but I can't really discuss that here and I dont know how to do it.
Yes, rewiring the harness is no problem. Thats what I did. Just make sure to get good wiring diagrams and you will do alright.
