How easy would it be to find a LS6 with a 6 speed in one of our cars....I have a 1984 Z-28 and have been thinking about this for a long time!!! Anyone have a clue cuz I know of a nice wrecked corvette that just came into the local junkyard and would make a nice supplier for my car lol Push me into the low 13s maybe 12s that would be nice from a factory motor anyways lol Anywho back the original question what all would i need and how much work would it be to make my dream come true?

 

exact same as an LS1 swap, only in costs more $$$$

LS6's usually aren't cheap, + you need an LS1 f-body oil pan.

 

also, you will need a F-Body transmision, you can get the ls6 out of a vette (you will have to get it out of a vette i should say) and you will need the ls1 6speed from an f-body, since the vettes had the transaxle instead.
