How much to part out entire 305 TBI and extra question about fuel pump
How much and what do you think I could sell out of my TBI. Im not going to be using anything out of the setup for my 406 SBC. Im going to full carb and no computer. The car was a 305 TBI 5 spd. with AC, power steering and all the normal running components of a 305 from 89. The engine is burning massive amounts of oil so I dont think that I would get anything for the block and heads.
Do I have to do anything special for my fuel pump since that is electrical and I wont have any computer to drive it? And what are my options for that?
I would gratefully appreciate anything you guys can tell me. :hail:

The trans is where you will get your cash. 4-800 bucks depending on how many miles are on it. The motor is worth dick but you might get a couple of bucks for it if you try. And for the fuel pump all you need is a Fuel pressure regulator.
I agree, I did the same basic changeover on my car and I couldn't give that damn engine away. I got a few bucks for the TBI because it had been ported, but that's it.
Get an adjustable regulator, a 3 port variety like the Mallory 4309. There are alot of different thoughts on the wiring, but I just rewired my pump to a new 12 volt relay. the relay is on a toggle switch witch only has juice with the key on, in case I forget to shut the pump off...
