70s 350 into 82 Camaro
I have the opportunity to buy a 350 out of an early 70s 1/2 ton Chevy pickup. I am looking at buying an 82 Camaro with a 305. The 350 should bolt in, shouldn't it?
Also, I can buy a TH-350 tranny that has 2 days on rebuild for $50. It came out of an 86 Chevy pickup. The Camaro has a three speed tranny (I'm assuming its a th-350). Will the pickup tranny bolt into the Camaro?
Thanks for the help

the 82 car has a th200c. It is junk but externally identical to a th350. The only part you will need is a bracket to mount the torque arm to the tail shaft. I believe B&M makes such a bracket. Either way jegs has the part just give them a call.
edit: And yes the 350 is a direct bolt in.
