I'm 18 and pretty new to the site and I have a few questions that I think you experienced gearheads could answer. I have a 82 Trans Am with a carbed 305 and a TH200 transmition. I'm looking to swap the 305 with a rebuilt 35O and the TH200 with a TH350 transmission and I need to know whether or not if I can use the same stock torque converter from the old transmission with the new engine and transmission set up that I am about to buy?

 

You can but the gains in preformance with a higher stall converter are large ones.
