I have an 82 Trans AM and I'm planning on swapping the stock 305 in it now for a rebuilt 350. I plan on selling the Q-jet and going with the Edelbrock Performer and Performer EPS intake. Since I want to go with the manual choke i'm not going to be using the computerized carburetion. I want to know if I can still use the computer for the ignition. If not please give me some options on what to do.

 

You will need the computer if you keep the stock distrobuter (no i can't spell).
