You get to throw just about everything electrical away. Im not sure if carb motors use sensors or not, I know you need a HEI distributor. Going to carb is a pretty easy swap but im just about positive their is very little to nothing as far as electrical parts go.

Most of your electrical stuff goes away. You will need to hook up your distributor using the same wires and the tach should be right there with it (connector that is). Should be able to use same throttle linkage, hook your kick down from tranny. The temp gauge you should be able to remove the connector that goes into the side of your block (under manifold/header) and put it in your new block.

The rest of electrical is just battery connections the hook up to your starter. Should be able to start the clipping process (I'd wait until everythign is hooked up first just incase).

I have a 75 and I pulled the 350 out of it, had it bolted into the 82 and couldn find the distributor connectors, plus I couldnt find an AFPR for under 200$ (3 port). So I ended up pulling it back out and putting it back in the 75. Oh yeah, found hte connectors for distributor, tranny cable i believe pulled htem all the way out of the wire protector junk and completely hid them, I searched for hours trying to find them, and even traced as good as I possibly could from the computer junk, still, nada! Crazy first swap lol.
