Hey I could really use some imput from some of the dudes that have actual numbers for me...

I have a car I'm planning to throw a motor into, and I'm choosing between either the 5.7L TPI from a 92 (or 91 I forgot) z28 or the engine from a 94 Impala SS.

What are the numbers I could see from both with a few mods, aftermarket heads, race exhaust setup, all into a 2600 lb car?

Any help is greatly appreciated, I just got into v8s so if I come off as stupid, it's cuz I am.

 

The LT1 from the impalla would make about 400 horses with an LT4 kit. The TPI would take considerably more work to get it up to 400.
