Car: 1986 Pontiac Trans Am

Engine: LG4 305

Transmission: T5

LG4 to 305/350 tpi from GTA

i have found a GTA at the salvage yard with a TPI 350 or 305 (i don't know which , i haven't run the VIN yet). it has the ECM, wiring harness and everything. anyhow, i was debating as to whether or not to do this swap.

can i use the same transmission?

what's the deal with the fuel lines?

can i use the same engine mounts?

how much would it cost to have it done?

You mean other than they're different, and you should take everything from the tank (including the tank) to the engine from the donor car?

Probably shouldn't be considered unless you do all the work yourself. Including pulling everything from the donor car (would be better to just buy the donor car, and sell what's left back to the JY after you're done), and installation.
