305 tbi to gm 350 ho using tbi
Can anyone tell me what I will need to get this job done . The car is a 92 rs 700r 4 the 305 tbi motor is bad so I want to swap the motor first . The gm 350 ho is a fair price but will it work right ? I was told ? that a computer out of a 88 chevy truck will work and I will need a set of 350 injectors oh ya a new hood what else will I need to finish the job . Any help will be appreciated.

Hel welcome aboard. You will find that this is a very popular swap that is fairly easy and inexpensive to do. You do not need a new hood or a truck computer. You will however need a new PROM that you will have to have burnt for you to use in your current computer. You can do that yourself or have it outsourced. You will need 350 TBI injectors, knock sensor, ESC module and a high flow fuel pump. You will also need a full exhuast. If you car is bone stock right now I would put some money into the rest of your car before you swap. You have many weak links to address before you add power that the car cannot support. Check out the TBI forum for finer details. Good luck and happy modding.
