hood clearance

hood clearance
I am putting a 350 in my 84' z28 and I was wondering if I will have enough hood clearance with the stock hood. I have a weiand action plus manifold and a holley 4160 double pumper.

More than likley you will have a clearence issue. Depending on the height you might be able to get an air cleaner that sits low to mitigate the problem.

i know on ours we were using a holley street dominator intake and a edelbrock carb and we had to use a drop base aircleaner and still had to take the insulation out from under the hood
dont know if that helps or not thats what we had to do ..
