I did my ls1 swap into my 92 firebird but now I'm stuck on wiring. Pretty much all else is done, but the wiring. I am usless when it come to wiring but more importantly I have absolutely zero time to work on it. Anybody in SE Mass area know how to and be willing to wire this pig up and finish my project?

You should give John at Speartech a call. He can build you a plug and play LS1 harness. If you choose not to install it yourself I am sure any competent person could install it for you.

i considered speartech but I already have the entire wiring harness and its fully hooked up to the engine. Really I just need the bugs and connectiosn worked out.
I was hoping somebody in the area has done an ls1 conversion and would know what wires do what and what systems need to be connected/bipassed.

Without knowing more details here are a few items you need to consider.

The only real thing that needs to be bypassed is the VATS. This can be accomplished by a module or reprogramming the PCM. You will need the three prong temperature sending unit to hook up the guage (I forget whih years came with them) and a tach adapter. The VSS needs to connect to the PCM as well. If you are using a 4L60e life is easier. You will not have to reprogram the PCM into thinking it is a manual trans because the 700r4 does not talk to the PCM like the 4L60e.

Check out ls1tech.com under the hybirds section. Someone there should be able to give you a hand.
