LS1 Numbers: 373.5 HP / 430.1 TQ @5200 rpm

done in 4th gear

1st RUN
373.4 HOP
429.9 TQ
4th gear, 126 mph

2nd RUN
373.5 HP
430.1 TQ
4th gear, 134 mph

A little lower then i had hoped......Considering it's measured at the wheels, I can't complain....

Gotta get over 400 HP.....:lala:

Sweet. Now lets get to the track, lol.

With my TR224 cam, I'm hoping for 325 RWHP at least. I'm getting closer. Cant wait either.

Edit: Whats up with only 5200 RPM's?

I thought you went with the stock heads and cam in that thing. What combo did you end up going with to get those numbers. Your car must fly. Did you use custom headers?

He answered my question on AIM instead of posting.

Those numbers were with the 75 HP nitrous jets

Was afraid of a leaning condition while running the nitrous....

yea, Z28***** is correct, those are with the 75 HP jets

Without the nitrous, at the flywheel I got.......

365.8 HP, that's with the custom exhaust and custom intake, about 40 hp over stock....

Also if it matters i used the 19" wheels.....someone mentioned with smaller tires you can get better numbers, but i'm not sure.....

If only i didn't have to drive 2 hours to get to the nearest one.......

If might have to wait until i get out to California and do a couple of more things to the engine.......(loose weight & ignition)

stock LS1's peak at about 5200 rpm so nothing out of the ordinary there. Although NX guarantees within 2% of their advertised hp ratings at the wheels so If you made 310 NA and 373 on nitrous I think you should contact NX about that. Roy did a good job. Also, what's up with the flywheel #'s if you didn't have it put on an engine dyno?

FLYNLOW92rs,
Man I was all impressed untill I saw you were running no2. j/k Those are very strong numbers. What rear end are you using and did you have all the belts on during the pull? Do worry about converting to flywheel HP because most of the LS1 guys use the HP at the wheels (RWHP).

StngKlr,
I can't wait to see your numbers with that cam. I am guessing in the 360+rwhp range with a good tune. I was looking at the same cam from thuner racing untill another setup poped up.

Both of you guys are driving me hard to get my car done. The only problem is my funds are running low because I set my goals a little high and needed a few other things for the LS1.

BTW My goal is to go hunting for Z06's and viper's. besides my Stealth already screams for a daily driver so I atleast have to my the Iroc faster than it is.

Good luck with the projects!!

I think the only time that I will get a Dyno is when it gets tuned also. Most of my testing will be on the track, since there is one 5 mins. away from my house. Its only an 1/8th, but Ennis (Texas Motorplex) is a good 2 hour drive from here. My ultimate goal is 11's N/A, but thats some time and $$ away.

FLYNLOW - Your PM's are full.

Posi Disc 3.42 rear out of a 1999 SS, all belts were on the car when it was dyno'd.......

PM's are cleaned out, good luck with the hunting for R1's......A viper was advertised as 500 HP, 500 TQ, so they aren't that far off numbers wise, but getting that power to the ground in a thirdgen might require some work.....

Cool!! I will have the same gearing but my rear will be a little weaker than a 99. I have a 3.42 on the Iroc now because og my G92 package so with any luck it will hang for a few dyno pulls.

That is why I went for a more top end cam. Anyone know what those vipers run in the 1/4? (I am going to go look it up)
