droppin in new BUILT short block

i have a 383 Stroker that has been built with all top quality parts and many custom parts. engine was built to support (not put out) up to 900HP. there is a very low compression but thats what a Procharger at 20+ PSI is for. i plan to keep it Fuel injected using the Miniram intake. what do i need to retain or buy new from my old L98 for the engine to be computer controlled as was the L98. i would like to retain my factory computer and basically everything electrical. i dont care about emissions but if i need anything for me to constantly tune the car, just list everything i need.
thanks

That about covers it right there. All you have to do, is to hook the same sensors and stuff back up like they were before. The ECM doesn't care whose piece of metal is sitting out there, as long as it sees coolant temp, O2, throttle position, dist pulses, etc; and as long as it has injectors and spark plugs to fire.

Tuning it is a different matter. You can be certain that the factory fuel and spark curves will be all wrong for the MiniRam. Get yourself a PROM-burning setup, because you'll definitely be needing it. Don't hallucinate that you can call somebody up and tell them you have this cam and that intake and those other parts, and they'll magically churn out the perfect tune for your unique setup; it won't happen.

Or, you could get an aftermarket ECM of some sort, such as Accel, Haltech, FAST, etc.; and tune it yourself on the fly. If you put a blower on it, that starts becoming real attractive compared to the PROM method.

alright, sounds interesting for a new ECM. i want complete tuning capabilities so what would be a good aftermarket ECM? and i assume i can keep all my original sensors and stuff?
