550+HP N/A Stealth Ram 350

first of all is it possible??? will the stealth ram even support a 550+hp N/A 350 motor??? If it will what heads/cam would i need. i was thinking about starting with a ZZ4 short block w/ maybe a set of edelbrock victor Jr heads. the only reason y i say these heads is b/c of there price(around 1200 for a complete set) and according to the jegs catlog they can support around 525hp right out of the box. the thing is i want all the good parts but i don't have the money to spend aorund 1000 per head! so all that said what do u guys think??? i guess my budget is around 2500 after i buy the ZZ4 short block(and i allreday have the stealth ram).

by the way the reason i want 550+ is i have two frineds w/ Z06's and one with a worked '03 cobra. i need to be faster then these!!! the cobra is the fastest w/ ova 500 rwhp!!!

please help me build a combo that will smoke my friends!!!

Ain't happening.

The Stealth Ram flows about 425, maybe 450 HP.

I'd suggest more CID, and a better intake tract... maybe a MiniRam.

if you want 500+ rwhp. build a strong 350 or 383 short block, a big set of heads (i.e. dart 215cc's, AFR 210cc's etc) the stealth ram, and a centrifugal supercharger. It won't be inexpensive by any means, but if you want to play with the big boys, you have to spend the big bucks.

A cheaper option is build a stout 400hp small block and spray it with a 150-200 shot.

yea i was thinkin about buildin a smaller hp engine and either throwing a s/c on it or sprayin it but i want to go N/A maybe a s/c but def no spray i guess i'll have to go the other way i was thinkin which was to do the LS1 or LT1 swap. is there anyone out there wit a super charged LT1 in a third gen???

The zz4 shortblock isnt going to take the abuse a centrifigal blower will throw at it. You want a shortblock with forged pistons.
