bellows for a 96 lt1 in a 91 z28

bellows for a 96 lt1 in a 91 z28

I wanted to know what bellows I can use. I'm almost done with my lt1 swap but i want to use my 91 (Y) stock air intake. but the lt1 came with that elbow looking bellow. i want to have the maf between them like the pic. thanks for any info

Thats like what was used on the 94-96 corvette, they arent cheap, if you can get one, there is an aftermarket similar to that, you'll have to do some searching sometimes they popup on ebay.

You can get the bellows from GM for about $30 for a corvette that had an LT1. The just use a piece of rubber hose between the MAF and filter housing.

that's what i thought. the bellow on ebay looks like one from lowes that i seen. does it matter what year vett?

Don't think so, believe they all used the same setup with a LT1.

AS i've already said, you need one from a 94-96, 92 and 93 are SD and do not have a MAF so they are more than likely the same as a 90-91 corvette, Neither Lowes or Home depot seems to have a 4" to 3.5" and it wasnt likely they would, 3.5 isnt a common size for things they'd have. Quite sure last I checked my parts guy said they were discontinued for the corvette also.

I'm pretty sure they are not discontinued. I got mine about 3 months ago straight from the GM dealership.
