Information about a 3.1 to 305 or 350 swap in a 91 camaro rs.

just want a general description of what all would be needed to do this besides the engine itself and the computer. also if anybody in the northeast ohio area has any information about where i could either pick up another 3.1 in good shape or a 305 350 out of the same year if possible, and a general price range. if possible just for the time being i think i would just another 3.1 in good condition.

That covers the V6 to V8 question.

If you want help with the project or info about local availability, post on the regional forum.

Don't waste your time with a 305. Everything about the swap will be the same but if you go with the 350 you will end up with much more power in the long run.

A friend of mine once read me part of his 305 song...

"305, 305, if it doesn't go any faster I'm gonna die"
