hole for fuel pump swap

What would be the best way to seal up the hole in the hatch area after taking out the fuel pump in the tank. Do they make a something for that or is it something one has to create on their own.
Thanks

There is no hole in the hatch area for taking out the pump. It's a non-issue. You drop the tank to change the pump.

some members have "made" holes in the floor to access the pump easier, do a search for it, most people do as RB says. Drop the tank .... easier in the long run.

and no hole in the floor

Well, if you cut the hole out for the fuel pump change instead of dropping the tank, you might as well just junk it, you've already done enough damage.

Cover it with a flame retardant floor mat!

Seriously, this can be dangerous. One mistake away from a really bad situation.

I hope you find a way to fix this safely. No Joke!

You've asked this on enough forums that I don't think we need to continue it here, especially since it isn't really engine swap related.
