Which crate motor to use

My 350 is tired and in need of being rebuilt. I would rather just buy a gm crate engine to stick in as i am in a hurry and getting ready to go to college (little money). I want a motor with at least 300 hp and comparative torque to my current 350 TPI. I just dont want to have to do anything to the computer. Any suggestions as to what motor to use that will not affect the computer?

You didn't list a cost factor, if you have $3,395 this is a good drop in for you, 360 HP TPI
but any engine except a stock replacement is going to need some custom changes to the chip and or fuel pressure.

No engine swap is a direct drop in, always additional parts and extras alway required. So in addtion to the engine, add 50% more to that cost.
