My 88 Iroc, 69 350? Need heads and cam!
Ok, I kinda asked this before, as I was going to put it in my friend's Camaro, but now the story has changed!
My car is starting to smoke... bad. So, I figure that I'll put this in if it's going to be worth it.
The engine is a 1969 3956618 350ci, and the heads are 3932441 1969 350 76cc chamber.
So, my question is, can I make this motor work with my car and my intake setup? I have the stock TPI.
I will have to get new heads, correct? If so, what do you guys reccomend that will match up to the old motor and the TPI? Nothing too crazy as I am on a budget!
I would guess I also need a cam (while the motor is out of the car!), reccomendations on that?
Anything else I should do?
The only other thing I have been told is the dipstick mounting, but I will get a Lokar or a look-a-like one.

I'm eyeing the the Edelbrock Performer RPM heads and cam, would that be a good combo for the 69' 350 and the 88 TPI?
Sorry for all the questions, but I don't know much about engine internals, and I really want to learn! I figure the best way to learn what works is to ask people with experience!
