Ok. I want to put a 5.7 in my camaro to replace the 5.0, but I want a 5 spd or 6spd. Would it be easier to swap my auto to manual or buy a 5spd v6 and put the v8 in there? I know there's 5spd v8's, but their not to common in Ohio. Thanks.

If you buy a 5 speed v6 car, you will need to buy a new 5 speed too. I would either swap the trans in the car you got or start looking for a v8 5 speed car.
