400+HP HSR owners chime in!!

ok heres the deal i'm planing a engine swap and was goin to do the LS1 swap but for some reasons i decided against it. So who out there is running a holley stealth ram setup on a 350 engine and has 400+ N/A RWHP??? if you would please share the rest of ur setup with me ie cam heads etc. or does anyone have a idea of what it will take to make this kind of power with a HSR setup. oh by the way i plan on using a ZZ4 short block as the starting point. thanx

The HSR doesn't really support that kind of power. It flows about 425-450 HP; that's around 360-375 RWHP.

Look at the runners.

If you really want that much power out of a FI 350, you'll probably need a MiniRam.

Ummm NO.Holley actually sell a complete set-up with 42pph injectors that will support 670hp.

That doesn't mean that the intake port cross section area, length, and bends will support enough flow for 670 HP, especially not naturally aspirated applications.

Stealth Ram doesn't mean Tunnel Ram.

for turbos or superchargers, those injectors would be useful. otherwise, probably not.

I guess I overlooked the N/A part, but for forced induction it will support more than 670HP with bigger injectors.

There's no metal to "port" out, to make the runners bigger.

Have you ever seen one?

Show us one. Just one. N/A of course. The highest power one I've heard of so far, was about 420 HP out of a 383.

many times.....

even own one.....

im not saying that you can take out 5 lbs of aluminum, but you surely can clean them up to flow better

have you ever seen one out of the box? its amazing somebody would use one without cleaning it up first

i've "heard" of setups that make a lot more hp then what our 406 hsr makes, but never seen them. but im still sure they are out there

Something tells me that 6-1/2 years later, he isn't still looking (especially since the OP never even came back in 6-1/2 years ago)...
